Who these terms are for

These terms cover any business that requests a preview from Vandrian ("we", "us") or signs up for our service. By signing up, you agree to them on behalf of your business.

The free preview

We build a preview of your website for free. You owe nothing for it, and you can say no. The preview's design stays ours unless you sign up.

What the plan includes

For $199 a month you get:

• a website designed for your business, hosted by us, with any change to it included, big or small, from new hours or photos to new pages or a full redesign;
• a domain registered in your name;
• your listings kept accurate on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook and Yelp, and submitted to the major data networks that supply other directories;
• Google Business Profile care: weekly posts and the photos you send;
• review requests to your customers by email, text or a printed card, replies to your reviews on Google and the other sites we monitor, and a reviews display on your website;
• tracking of your Google rankings for up to 100 searches against up to four competitors, and of how your business appears in AI search answers;
• a monthly report;
• a review link and a printable QR card.

Review requests by text go only to customers you tell us have agreed to get texts from your business. You're responsible for having that agreement. Email requests include a way to opt out, and we honor it.

Every change to your website is part of the plan, big or small, at no extra charge.

Booking, payment and other tools you use

We connect your site to the tools your business already uses, such as Square, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Stripe or a booking app. We do it with buttons, links or the tool's own widget.

• Your account with that company is yours, under its own terms.
• Your customers pay you directly through that account. We never receive, hold or process their payments, and we never see their card details.
• Fees, payouts, refunds, chargebacks and disputes are between you and that company.
• We're not responsible when one of those tools goes down, changes how it works or closes your account. If a change breaks a button on your site, we'll fix the button.
• Anything beyond a link or a standard widget, like syncing data between two systems, isn't included. We'll tell you before doing any of it.

Billing

• You pay from your dashboard when you tell us to put your site live. The first $199 is charged then, through Stripe, and your card is saved for the monthly charge.
• After that, you're charged $199 on the same day each month. The plan renews every month until you cancel.
• There's no setup fee and no contract.
• If we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
• If a payment fails and isn't fixed within 14 days, we may pause your site until it is.

Canceling

• Cancel anytime from your account at app.vandrian.com, or by emailing [email protected].
• Canceling takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for. We don't refund partial months.
• Your site stays up until then. After that, you can keep it for a one-time $500 and we'll hand over the files. Otherwise we take it down.
• Your domain and your Google profile are yours either way. We'll help move the domain and remove ourselves as a manager.

Your content

• Your business name, logo, photos and information stay yours. You let us use them to run your site, listings and profile.
• Only send us material you have the right to use.
• You approve your site before it goes live. Check that what it says is true, including licenses, prices, services and service areas, and tell us when something changes.
• Some sites use generated images. We won't present a generated image as a photo of your own work.

Our work

The design and code of your site belong to us. While you're on the plan, you can use them for your business. Paying the $500 buyout transfers them to you.

What we can't promise

• Google, Yelp and the other directories make their own decisions. We can't guarantee rankings, calls or reviews, or that a platform accepts every change.
• We watch your site around the clock and fix problems fast, but no host can promise it never goes down.
• We build sites with accessibility in mind. If you or a customer finds a problem, tell us and we'll fix it as part of the plan.

Limits

We provide the service as is, with no promises beyond the ones in these terms. If something goes wrong, our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it happened. Neither of us is responsible to the other for lost profits or other indirect losses. You're responsible for claims that come from content you gave us or approved.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and email current clients at least 30 days before the change applies to them.

Law

California law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the courts of Orange County, California.
